I have this burning question that i need answered....
I'm starting medicine @ Dundee this year but i don't know a thing about anything medical except what i've done in higher human biology and looked up for my interviews - so can all u guys out there studying medicine tell me if that's a problem? Or am i stressing about nothing coz i get taught it all in first year anyways?
Thanx in advance ;)

By the way this is a cool site, gr8 idea!

Don't panic if there's a delay in receiving replies - the Medical Schools Forum is moderated - which means that replies await the approval of the moderators before appearing (NextGen cyber super powers can get direct access thus avoiding this delay, which is how this message got through).

all the biology i ever learned at school was all plants.. and i made it through first year fine

it helps to know basic concepts of cells and energy, but everything else is taught along the way

I wouldn't panic - They will teach you all the stuff you need to know when you start. I would panic if a year down the line you knew nothing - I doubt that would happen. A doctor once sadi to me that Medicine is easier than you think - it is getting in which is hard'
