I've written to loads of hospitals/GP surgeries but patient confidentiality means that they can't offer me any work experience. I'm working in a nursing home & special needs nursery but would love some experience of GPs or hospitals. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME??:confused:

I had some trouble as well, but I phoned up my local hospital, Falkirk Royal and they got me a day work shadowing a consultant surgeon, and I actually got to walk round on his wards and sit in on his out-patient clinic, on the condition that I didn't go into specific patient cases when I left.

Keep trying though, hassle them a bit more and see what happens!

Have you tried hospices, and day care centres, iv done work at the St andrews Hospice and the Alexander resource centre, daycare bit thing, try the ones in you area, they are usually more than happy tp have volunteers
