There will be another FIRST AID COURSE for NextGeners during the 2002 Easter holidays. It's a four day course, running from 9 am to 4 pm, taught by the Lanarkshire Branch of the British Red Cross and will be held in the Training Suite at Monklands Hospital.
Successful participants (and everyone passed the tests for the past three courses) will become qualified First Aiders (which will let you volunteer to provide first aid cover for football matches, pop concerts, etc).
There will be 14 places - more or less on a first come first served basis (priority to NextGenerswho are registered members, obviously). Let me know if you want to come.
Elliott
PS Forgot to mention the dates - it's running from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th March (the week before Easter weekend). Remember, you have 2 weeks of holiday, so you can swot for highers etc (if you need to) during the second week. Besides, an event with 14 NextGeners should be an education in itself.
:) :)
PPS Also forgot to mention - it's FREE (well, paid for by Monklands)
;) ;)
