...not merely chit chat as per usual!!

Just a to say here are a few useful websites that i found in a book for all you budding medics like my good self:

student doctor.net - www.studentdoctor.net

Is American but has quite good stuff on it

The Times and The Daily Telegraph - www.telegraph.co.uk
- www.the-times.co.uk

For medical issues in the news. Do a search.

The Student British Medical Journal - www.bmj.com/bmj/studbmj/index.html

You can also subscribe to the journal for £26

another 2 i found were www.e-medicalspecialities.com & www.medic8.com

Will keep you posted

WOW!

Nicola! That is truly the most interesting thing you have ever said! Have you been eating blue smarties?

I will check those websites out ASAP. I do have the leaflets somewhere but I always forget the web addresses and now you have supplied them for us :)

hi

just went onto the student doc net Nicola mentioned above and they now have a new page where they give a list of peoples experiences at interviews, questions asked etc - sadly its all American but i thought it might interest some of the future med peeps to look at the questions any way!most are quite alike ours ie why PBL?? etc
